Art is woven into the fabric of the Château. Discover the second largest collection of antique paintings in France. Little has changed here since the Duke of Aumale debuted his finds in the 19th century. Upstairs, rooms pay homage to the history of Château – its classical furnishings given a contemporary twist. Since then, this magnificent setting has played host to notable names and visiting royals, from Constable Anne de Montmorency to Charlotte de Montmorency. When Prince Henri d'Orleans, Duke of Aumale became heir to the Domaine de Chantilly in 1830, the Château’s meticulous post-revolution restoration began.
